FILE 00   COLD OPEN — THE ONE BEHIND THE FRAME

The Wolf.

Before the arenas, before the credits, there is a man who watches first. Director, editor, observer — Walid, born and raised in Montréal. The people he films gave him another name.

ACT I   THE EYE

Born watching.

It started with a second-hand camera and a mirror. Before he directed anything, he watched — faces, streets, the way light lands on people when they forget they're being seen. The habit never left. It became the method : observe first, feel the room, then press record.

ACT II   THE HUNT

Ten years chasing the frame that makes you feel.

From the floor of the Centre Bell to L'Olympia in Paris. A Netflix special. A legend of the octagon. An $800K machine. The hunt never changes : find the one second that makes a stranger feel something — then build the whole film around it.

ACT III   THE WOLF

Why they call him Wolf.

HUMBLE · MODEST — HIS OWN WORDS, MIRRORED

A wolf doesn't perform. It observes. It reads the room before it moves, feels the pack before it acts. On set, that's him — quiet, patient, tuned to what people don't say.

The mystery isn't a mask. It's focus. And the empathy is the weapon : he feels what you feel — then he makes an audience feel it too. That's the whole job. That's why the name stuck.
